The Basic Engineering wing delivers the common first-year curriculum — engineering mathematics, sciences and foundational engineering practice — to every diploma student before they move into their chosen branch.

About This Wing
The Basic Engineering wing does not offer a standalone diploma. It delivers the common first-year curriculum for all first-year diploma students, who then proceed into their chosen branch — Civil, Mechanical, EEE, ECE, Computer Engineering, Sugar Technology, IoT or Digital Manufacturing Technologies — from the second year.
